Raphael Fumey and Adeline Chatelain have run the estate since 1991 increasing their vineyards to nearly 20ha. Their son Marin has recently teamed up with his parents to become the man in charge of the winemaking. His plans are ambitious and include to fully transform the estate to a organic and biodynamic domaine. The wines of Fumey-Chatelain are rich and powerful but always with that certain type of elegance and charme. These are absolutely great and typical „juraesque“ wines that you don‘t want to miss.

Our name is Vinoteca Maxima with a very strong emphasis on „vino“ of course BUT we also have some of the best beers. From classic beers over #geuze to #ipa and we have them in different sizes!

We might not have as much beer as we have wine but we definitely pick the breweries we want to work with, with the same diligence and care as we decide the wineries for our portfolio.
With likes of @3fonteinen, @brasserie_papyllon, @labrasseriedesvoirons we teamed up with some very unique and amazing breweries that are far, far away from the average beers you might find in your local supermarket.

The estate was created in 2001 on land owned by the family. Historically the domain‘s main activity was wine. Today Romain des Grottes and Perrine Stas cultivate 6.5ha of vines and 2ha of cereals, meadows and other plants. Everything happens on the estate in accordance with biodynamical principles. The wines see little to no copper and SO2, verbal teas and fermented extracts are used instead. Love-intervention is Lex in the cellar. The results are beautiful and gorgeous wines that always seem to be extremely wholesome and balanced. Domaine des Grottes‘ huge portfolio of still and sparkling wines - including their stunning Zero-alcohol PetNat „ Antidote“ - can be found online and in our store.

We had absolutely wonderful days in Burgundy and later in Doubs. We were able to visit some incredible winemakers, met with close friends, tasted amazing wines and had a great and remarkable time.
