Dear US-customers, from September 15th on we won‘t be able to send parcels to the USA.

German delivery services don‘t use flight transport as their only option, they also use transport by ship. But we won‘t be able to choose which type of transport we want them use. This might result in orders being 25 to 30 days on their way till they reach the USA.

Therefore we don‘t send wines to the USA at moment.

Vincent Girardin - Côte de Beaune, Burgundy, France

Veröffentlicht am 30.09.2020

Vincent Girardin started his domaine at the age of 19 three decades ago with barely 2 ha. Nowadays he owns 20ha in the most famous parts of Beaune and is one of the most highly regarded winemakers in this area. As the years went on Vincent developed a more and more „natural“ style. He stopped using herbicides and pesticides over 20 years ago and started to use compost and plows in the vineyards. The domaine is also working biodynamically for over 10 years. The result can be tasted in every wine - from entry level to the absolute top Grand Cru: Fruity, energetic, vibrant and very smooth wines that you have to taste!

Gille and his wife started in 1990 with just 0.8ha of vines and increased it quickly to 7ha. During that time they also established organic agriculture and were certified in 2002. A big break came in the following years when Gille reduced his vines to 4ha and stopped using oak and started to only use horses in his vineyards to produce more high-end wines. This neverending quench for perfection can be tasted in every sip of the Berlioz wines. From Jacquere over Altesse to Bergeron the wines totally reflect this approach and have a unique style of elegance and power.

This historic family estate in the heart of the Côte-d‘Or produces wine since 1835. Being aware of their precious heritage Adèle, Elsa and their parents Pascale and Thierry have the goal to protect the quality of their ancestors terroir. The wines are a true expression of their terroir and the vintage and they always have tremendous aging potential. They taste very bright, straightforward, mineral and indented fruit.

Raphael Fumey and Adeline Chatelain have run the estate since 1991 increasing their vineyards to nearly 20ha. Their son Marin has recently teamed up with his parents to become the man in charge of the winemaking. His plans are ambitious and include to fully transform the estate to a organic and biodynamic domaine. The wines of Fumey-Chatelain are rich and powerful but always with that certain type of elegance and charme. These are absolutely great and typical „juraesque“ wines that you don‘t want to miss.
